Appreciating Nature

It was a fun packed event for our tiny tots of Grade 1 when they learnt about types of plants  and also relished their lunch in the NTR park. Not just that.... they even had a good play time.

CODE OF CONDUCT- MY RESPONSIBILITIES

Module - 1

  At Home

·         Wake up in the morning without troubling parents

·         Wish your parents

·         Drink a glass of water

·         Fold your own bed sheet

 ·     Get Ready to school

·      Drink a glass of milk / Have breakfast

·      Be on time to school

Back From School

·         Place for everything (shoes, books, put lunch box in sink)

·         Hygiene – Clean up self, use hand wash after using toilet

·         Snack time

·         Do the home work neatly and with concentration

·         Revise in each subject what was taught that very day

·         Play time/TV time (For extra Play time/TV time obey your parents)

·         Keep away toys safely after play, books after study

·         Eat on time and without making a fuss

·         After eating, leave your plate in the sink

At School

1)         Always wish your teachers in and out of school

2)         Treat everyone with respect

3)         Keep your school clean

4)         Always walk on to your left while on corridors and staircases

5)         Complete your class work on time and neatly

6)         Listen to the teacher

      7)      Raise your hand to ask, answer or speak

      8)      When in doubt, ask your teacher

      9)      When in school campus, speak only English

     10)  Greet everyone with a smile

     11)  Never beat, push, kick or fight with others

Note to parent: The above ground rules have been elaborately discussed and explained to the child.  Please ensure the same is followed up at home by drawing a star( ) in the diary everyday starting  from today.  Parents must support and follow-up the ‘At home’ & ‘Back from school’ activities.

Day Outing to The Largest Integrated Film City in the World

Ramoji Film City - At 1666 acres, It is the largest integrated film city in the world. It is also a popular tourism and recreation centre, containing both natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park. The Outer Ring Road Phase 2 has acquired lands at the entrance and is set to intersect the city. Pragathi children visited to check it out and enjoyed immensely. Enjoy Photos here.

Trip to Shilparamam

Shilparamam, a crafts village, conceived in the year 1992, is situated just about few kilometers from Hyderabad city. Sprawling over 65 acres (260,000 m2) of land in the hi-tech hub city of India, Shilparamam gives a scenic ambience of tradition and cultural heritage. For promotion and preservation of Indian arts and crafts and to motivate the artisans, the state government established this platform.
Pragathi Children from Class 2 and class 3 visited Shilparamam and had a charming time.  Picture is better than thousand words. Go to "Primary" to enjoy photos.

Teachers Training Camp by CBSE

As a part of continuous endeavor towards standardizing teaching methodology and updating pedagogy CBSE conducts frequent training camps.  Given below is a snap shot of Pragathi in one such event organized in Chirec Public School.

Sports Week

Holistic development has been our mantra.  Education, Knowledge, personality etc.  Towards this Pragathi is celebrating sports week.  Children from all classes participate in games of their choice to win prizes or just to have fun or both.  There was loads of fun and achievements celebrated.  Given below are snap shots of the event and as the week progresses more photos to come.
